This is the Lamborghini LM002, although not a car, it's a super-thing that's for sure and alot of us wouldn't kick it out of our bedgarageroom for eating crackers. Looking at it's interior, I feel a bit queezy, but some dude wanting attention somewhere, who also wears alot of beautifuljewlery, would loooove it. So, I have to ask, just what is the worst super car interior? I'm talking about the half million dollar car with an interior like Barbie's corvette life sized. Super cars, not run of the mill sports cars. Ideas?

Seriously, most super car interiors from the era of the LM002 were awful.

Lotus Esprit

Kinja'd!!!

Vector W12

Ferrari - One thing they did get right back in the day

huh, they all look amazing to me.

I personally can't stand the Huayra's interior, I appreciate the level of skill required and the attention to detail, but I would hate to live with it.

The F40 is amazing, but Yugo had more stylish and well appointed interiors.

Isn't that kind of the point? You know, because racecar?

Most people count the ZR1 as a supercar. Just sayin.

I would say that too. Race car for the street should not be luxury, it should be a purpose. But shouldn't be cheap. Now, if it was in quilted bulbous leather surrounds with fake wood dash formica......

This brings up what a proper interior for the car's purpose should be. simple and barren for race cars, plush leather for fast GT's, I guess the question would be just who did it badly.

For the same reason it doesn't have A/C, power door locks, power steering, power windows, carpeting or insulation. It's a race car.

All that garish aluminium and stainless steel to keep fastidiously clean? No thanks.

"Garish" seems a little exaggerated. Either way, the good thing about being rich is you can get it in any finish you want.

no exaggerations here.

Garish in the sense it is excessively ornate or elaborate. (and the Carbon makes it even worse)

A great thing Oppo'nions are though, we can both have different views and still be correct.

Honestly for the period I don't think looks that bad.

The McLaren F1. This is what $1 million bought you in 1994. It's possible that the offset center set driver seat makes up for it.

Umm, if "because racecar" was ever an explanation this is the case here. Nothing tacky, although it is very spartan.

Right, I get that, but my point was "interior per dollar", the McLaren isn't the greatest.

I like it, it looks like you're gonna pilot the Next Generation era Enterprise.

And I'm pretty sure they let you pick whatever colours you wanted.

Here's it in black and slate

while here's the reverse of the one you pictured in purple/maroon to match the exterior

This makes me feel nostalgic. I remember playing some early racing sim that included a Countach, a ZR-1, and some other exotics. It also allowed you to build tracks.

Part of me thinks those games were better, for a couple of reasons. First was just the newness of the technology. Of course current sims are better, but they don't require much in the way of imagination like those old sims did. Second, I think it was 8-bit. Considering what was available graphically and for mainstream computing power, it did okay.
